It has been a little over 3 months since the final whistle blew at Soccer City - time does fly by quickly! And now after most of the reconciliation of accounts is complete, we move forward and onto new projects! We have expanded our service offering and with a dedicated team.... take on events globally. Next is The Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand and then Olympics 2012 in London and the next round of FIFA Events in Brazil 2013 and 2014. I personally look forward to future collaborations with all our existing partners and to building new relationships with future clients. ~ Philip Bourdin, MD - T.E.A.M |

FIFA World Cup 2010TM World Cup Round Up FIFA president, Sepp Blatter has lavished praise on South Africa after successfully hosting the 2010 World Cup and gave the country a ‘9 out of 10’ for its organisation. ‘Nobody in the world is perfect but the organisation of this first World Cup in Africa and in South Africa was pretty close,’ said Blatter. Sentiments and words like these certainly make one proud as a South African and for us in T.E.A.M, as a business that was materially involved in delivering Destination Management Services for the FIFA World Cup 2010 that pride extends beyond merely being "proudly South African" to the point where we measure our performance against the greater world standard Some T.E.A.M World Cup stats:

Danone Nations Cup 2010 Kids having a ball... The Danone Nations Cup took place from the 30 September to 03 October 2010 at HPC in Pretoria and the finals being held at Orlando Stadium! This momentous event being the first time that the Danone Nations Cup was played outside of France saw South Africa being crowned the 2009 champions and Mexico as 2010 champions. Throngs of people turned up early to watch the final day of play and the sounds of vuvuzelas reverberated throughout the stadium. The thousands of kids that arrived immediately went to the Danone activation area where they played mini soccer, had a turn on the jumping castles rode, tried their luck on the rodeo bull and watched the live entertainment. What an amazingly emotive event this was as the teams interacted with each other and with the crowds of children - throwing their soccer jerseys to the fans as they walked by after their match. What amazing atmosphere and comeradie was displayed by the teams, the soccer stars of the future! T.E.A.M was again "front and centre" of the event! We managed all arrangements for the hospitality packages for media, Key Opinion Leaders and Danone Consumers from 40 countries worldwide. T.E.A.M's successful delivery was based on the focus and expertise incorporating 6 core competencies; accommodation, transport, staffing, touring, hospitality and database management.
